At Benedetto’s we are more than just a restaurant—we are a family, proud to share the rich flavors of Italy with every dish we serve.
Our story begins in Opido Mamertina, a small town in Reggio Calabria, where our ancestors cultivated recipes that were to be passed down through generations.
It was the year 1939, that Benedetto and Grazia Blefari made the bold journey from Italy to Australia, bringing with them not only dreams of a new life but also the cherished Calabrese culture that has been at the heart of our family for centuries. Today, we continue to honor that legacy at Benedetto’s, where every dish, is crafted with love and care, staying true to the flavors of our homeland.
With over 25 years of experience as a chef and a specialized Pizzaiolo, I’ve learned that great food starts with simple, fresh ingredients and recipes that have stood the test of time.
Now it’s time to think outside the box, where we continue to embrace the traditional flavours of Italy, whilst presenting them in a modern and exciting form.
